The Law Office of Kathleen Robichaud is looking for a Legal Assistant to join the team. The office is located in a charming old house in Manotick.

Job Description
The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in total in at least 2 of the following areas: Real Estate; Wills and Estates; and Corporate Law. You will prepare transaction documents for real estate purchases and sales; for incorporation and for purchases and sales of businesses and other business related transactions; assist with the drafting of Wills and Powers of Attorney; preparation of estate administration documents and with processing them. You will also assist generally with day to day office administration and other tasks within the office.

Job Requirements
Must have strong typing and computer skills including PCLaw; Unity; Teranet; and Outlook. The candidate must be organized; have good judgment; well developed problem-solving skills; and a pleasant manner both in person and on the phone. Strong oral and written communication skills are a must. Some use of a vehicle may be required from time to time and so a valid Driver’s License is also required.
